This collection of photographs attempts to capture the co-existence of a past daunting a vulnerable present through atmospheres, architectures and colours of some (ex)communist countries: Russia, Vietnam and Poland.

 

The suspended sense of time, the architectural uniformity and those wide and empty spaces, create a setting in which the sensory experience could be one similar to being enveloped in a haunted veil.
